If you are looking for a new snuggle buddy, Illinois is up for the job. She is a petite Lab mix around 2 years old and this girl loves to cuddle. We think she is the perfect lap size at around 40 lbs. She closes her eyes in blissful contentment anytime you rub her belly and eagerly climbs in your lap for pets. She gets along great with other dogs but prefers people to dogs and doesn't need a dog in her forever home to be happy. Illinois is housetrained, crate trained and sleeps quietly in her dog bed throughout the night. She would love a home where her humans work from home or someone is home more often than not as she loves to be where her people are. She does have an old leg injury and limps on it so won't be your new running buddy or able to go on long hikes for several miles but she does enjoy short walks around the neighborhood and prefers cuddletime anyway.
