Avalon has silky golden locks of fur and a gentle heart. She is around 3 years old and is a Terrier and Bearded Collie mix. While she may look like Benji, she is a large dog at over 50 lbs. Avalon is a bit reserved when you first meet her and she is looking for a patient, dog savvy family. She knows several basic commands, housetrained and walks well on leash. She likes going to the beach but is a little uncomfortable when unfamiliar dogs run right up into her face. She prefers slow, patient introductions to other dogs. Avalon is a great house partner, she will lay by your feet or sit by you on the sofa or on the floor and give you a paw every now and then for attention. She a lovely girl and very easy to have around. She is good with large breed dogs but would really be a great only dog. She prefers a more laid back home where she will be the priority, and she will pay you back with lots of love. She adores her foster mom and does very well with females but takes a little longer to warm up to men. Men in the home will have to be patient and give her time to come to them. She is a snuggler but will go lay by herself if you tell her to go lay down. Well mannered, quiet, soft hearted, loving girl is the best way to describe Avalon.
