Things are looking up for Tegan in so many ways! After arriving with little or no fur this sweet girl got the care she needed and the nutrition to get her back on track. Today, she is a stunning Shepherd mix with a beautiful grey, black and cream colored coat. We estimate her at 1 to 2 years of age, still a young girl to have gone through some tough times. She has a long body and long legs and classic Shepherd markings and personality. Tegan is great on leash and gets a couple daily walks. She loves a good game of fetch and pulling apart stuffed toys. She would do best in a home with a yard for her to run around in as she has Shepherd energy and likes running her wiggles out. She sleeps quietly through the night and is so happy to see her people in the morning. Tegan is all about giving hugs and love to her favorite people and she doesn't keep it a secret. She is learning some basic commands and is ready to find a family who will make this part of her life a great journey. She is very smart and eager to please. She is looking for a family with prior dog experience, especially the Shepherd breeds. She can get a little excited at playtime and is still learning about kids so likely would do best in a home with older dog savvy children. Tegan is fostered with cats and gives them lots of space.
