Chica is 11 years old and looking for a very special family to give this old lady a second chance! She is a purebred yellow Lab and a big girl who is working hard at losing weight in her foster home. Despite her age and size, she is young at heart and this sweet living teddy bear has a forever puppy personality. Chica enjoys her twice daily walks and can go for up to 1.5 miles at a time. She co-exists peacefully with other dogs, but isn't much of a player with them. She does, however, like to play with toys and never says no to a stuffed Kong. She loves people and enjoys sticking close to her humans. She serves as a perfect, well-behaved coworker in your home office. She is housetrained and doesn't get into mischief when left home alone, but we think she'd prefer a home where someone is home more often than not. She can be a bit vocal when she sees strangers passing by her yard but merely wants to alert you to their presence - this marshmallow doesn't have a mean bone in her body! She knows a few basic commands and is sharp when it comes to learning new things. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Chica, then fill out an adoption application on our website today! We recommend completing the application process and connecting with a adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.

Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing.
